Thereminwochenende in Lippstadt vom 4.11.2010-7.11.2010

Die Conrad-Hansen-Musikschule in Lippstadt lädt herzlich zum Thereminwochende ein. Das Theremin gilt als eines der magischsten Instrumente, weil es berührungslos gespielt wird. Mit Lydia Kavina, Barbara Buchholz, Carolina Eyck und Wilco Botermans erteilen an diesem Wochenende die weltbesten Musiker Thereminunterricht und leiten workshops. Der Unterricht wird für Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene angeboten. Der Bau und die Wartung und Pflege von Thereminen ist der zweite Schwerpunkt des Wochenendes. Wilco Botermans bietet den Bau des Moog Etherwave Kit und den Einbau des Plus Upgrade Kit an, mit Dominic Bednarz ist es möglich, ein low budget "Subscope" Theremin mit Pitch Antenne und Volume-hand controller herzustellen. Mit diesen Instrumenten können Anfänger ihr erstes eigenes Instrument sehr kostengünstig erwerben und Fortgeschrittene das Etherwave Standard aufwerten. Thierry Frenkel bietet workshops zum technischen Setup und Tuning an. Alex Pieroti bietet workshops zum Tuning des Instrumentes auch im Bezug zum eigenen Körper um die größtmögliche Linearität zu erreichen. Im Imrovisationsworkshop werden die KLangmöglichkeiten des Theremins ausgelotet und mit Hilfe von Pedalen und Multieffekten erweitert. Alle Teilnehmer haben die Möglichkeit, im Thereminorchester zu musizieren. Höhepunkt am Samstag Abend ist das Konzert "Without Touch" mit Dozenten und Teilnehmern um 19:00 Uhr in der Jakobikirche, Jacobikirchstraße in der City von Lippstadt.
